Jonathan Cannon

Jonathan Cannon is entering his second season as a Pepperell Dragon. Last season, Coach Cannon led the JV Dragons to a 14-1 record and won the Northwest Georgia JV Baseball Conference. Coach Cannon was named 'Coach of the Year' by the Rome chapter of 'Fellowship of Christian Athletes'. He had spent the previous 8 years as a member of the Woodland Wildcats staff in Cartersville: coaching baseball, Softball, soccer, golf, and Wrestling.

Prior to Woodland, Coach Cannon graduated from Kennesaw State University with a Health and Physical Education degree (Class of '13). He is a 2007 graduate of Model High School.

Coach Cannon has coached in 8 state playoff appearances: 2 State Wrestling finals, 1 golf State Sectional, and 5 Softball appearances (1 Elite 8, 3 Sweet 16's, 1 First Round, and 1 Region Championship in 2018).
