Chad Brown


Coach Brown is in his 2nd year as the Head Coach at Pepperell High School. Before becoming a Dragon, he served as the Associate Head Coach at Bowdon High School. During his time in Bowdon, the baseball team won a region title (2016, 5-AA), reached the Semifinals twice (2018 & 2019, A), Quarterfinals (2016, AA), and Sweet 16 (2017, A). Coach Brown also served three seasons as Head Coach for the Bowdon Middle School softball team, where they played for the league title all three years, winning in 2016.

Originally from Ephesus, Georgia, he is a 2005 graduate of Heard County High School where he was captain for the baseball team and also played football. Attending the University of West Georgia, he obtained a Bachelor’s in Sport Administration with a minor in Business Administration, as well as a Master’s in Special Education. Coach Brown’s background in sports also includes a 5-year stint at Heard County Parks and Recreation, where he served as Athletic Director.

Coach Brown currently resides in Silver Creek, Georgia with his wife, Erica, and their three children. Mrs. Brown teaches 3rd grade at Pepperell Elementary School. They have two daughters: Madi Rae (6) and Lane (2), and a son: Maddux (11 months). Coach Brown is excited about the Pepperell Baseball family and looks forward to adding to the rich baseball tradition.
